CLYDE WADDOUPS NELSON
APRIL 20, 1952 ~ May 14, 2025
Clyde Nelson quietly passed away at home with Ellen by his side holding his hand.
He served a mission to the beautiful land of New Zealand where he touched many lives. After returning Clyde married Ellen, the love of his life in the Logan Temple on July 19, 1974.
They continued their life together living in Corinne. There they raised 7 remarkable children. Clyde devoted his hard work every day on the family farm, he loved so much. He taught his children the value of hard work and doing an honest day's work.
Clyde spent hundreds of hours in his favorite tractor and scraper working to make rough ground perfectly level. It gave him great reward to see a field he leveled water with no dry spots.
Clyde enjoyed eating Ellen’s homemade bread with her special strawberry jam and cherry pie. Clyde had an unbelievable love of ice cream. He passed that love to his children and grandchildren. His soft ice cream machine ran frequently so he could share an ice cream cone with family, friends, and everyone he knew and even strangers.
Private services where held at the Corinne Cemetery.
