Perry

David Brent Aston, a beloved husband, father, Uncle, brother, and friend, passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 71 in Perry, Utah. Born on October 27, 1953, in Provo.

David lived a life full of love, laughter, and faith.

David was a man who wore many hats throughout his life. He graduated from Provo High School and went on to earn his electrician credentials at Weber Tech, a testament to his dedication and hard work. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was honored to hold the Melchizedek priesthood. He loved teaching the Gospel and was deeply committed to his faith.

In 1991, David married the love of his life, Angela, in Elko, Nevada, and again in the Bountiful temple in 1998, and together they built a family rooted in love and laughter. His sense of humor was infectious, and he had a knack for making those around him feel at ease. He was the kind of person who could take a joke like a champ, although he'd sometimes need a moment to express his feelings afterward. His generosity knew no bounds, always giving when he could and cherishing his family above all else.

David's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Aston, and his children: Shelby (Gabriel) Bush, Tatum, and India Aston, Emily Housley, Tadd, Brent, and Cameron Aston. His four-legged sidekick, Jagger. Grandkids: Alysa, Oliva, Cobe, Kaisa, Truman, Aaron, Rocky, and Akala (Cheeka). As well as two great grand kids: Oakley, and Ivy. He also leaves behind his siblings: Clinton (Clint) Aston, Cheryl Moore, Michelle (Micky) Johnson, and Tresa Mills. Though his brother, Steve Aston, sister Linda Rowe, and his parents, Theo S, and Nelly Joe (Fowler) Aston, predeceased him, their memories lived on through David’s stories and cherished moments.

In addition to his family, David's legacy includes his missionary work in Palmyra, NY, where he shared his faith and touched many lives. His life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and laughter, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate David's life at a viewing on June 24th from 6-8 pm and a funeral service on June 25th at 11 am, both held at 2415 S 900 W, Perry, UT 84302. There will also be a live stream if you cannot make it. As we gather to remember David, let us honor the wonderful memories and the love he shared with us all.
