Jason Stuart, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2024 in Murray, Utah, at the age of 52, due to a medical heart condition. Born on March 22, 1972, in Ogden, Utah, he was a steadfast and reliable presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Jason attended Lincoln Elementary, Box Elder Junior High, and graduated from Box Elder High School. He furthered his education by obtaining a Building Construction Certificate from Bridgerland Applied Technology School. His commitment to learning and personal growth underscored his dependable nature, a quality that served him well throughout his life.
As an avid animal lover, Jason had a unique ability to connect with all creatures, making friends with every animal he encountered. He enjoyed raising and riding horses with his Dad and Grandpa. His passion for the outdoors found expression in his love for fishing, hunting, camping, and embarking on adventurous road trips. These adventures not only enriched his life but also created lasting memories that friends and family will cherish forever. Jason loved his family and all of the activities they did together.
Known for his kindness, Jason made a positive impact on those around him. Jason was always the first person to extend a happy birthday. He was always willing to help others and never judged people. His proudest accomplishment, reaching the rank of Eagle Scout, exemplified his dedication to service and community, a trait he carried with him throughout his life.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy Stuart; his father, Jay Stuart; his mother, Marcia Stuart; his son, Brandon Stuart; and his siblings, Shelly (Steven) Allred, Charles (JaNay) Stuart, Joseph (Kristen) Stuart, Carrie (Matthew) Hansen, and Marcianne (Justin) Simkins. Jason also leaves behind four stepchildren and eight step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Jason Stuart.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jason’s life at Gillies Funeral Chapel, located at 634 E 200 S, Brigham City, UT 84302. A viewing will be held on November 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at noon. Jason will then be interred at Brigham City Cemetery. Jason Stuart will be deeply missed, and his legacy of kindness, adventure, and love for nature will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
