Jefferson Mathis Rush

Jefferson Mathis Rush 59 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday June 12th, 2025.
Jeff was born to Coy and Barbara Rush on August 23rd, 1965, in Tulare California. He was a very mischievous child so having a huge family he tended to get into a lot of trouble.

He met the love of his life at age 29 while working at Storm products in Brigham City Utah, trying to earn enough money to go back to California, but before he could, in walked Robin and he said that his plan went out the window.

Anyone who ever met Jeff would know he is not a shy man except when he got close to Robin he couldn't say a word at all he could do was stare at her so she took the lead and asked him out on the first date. They were married six months later on April 15th, 1995, in Brigham City Utah. His wife picked that day so he would not forget their anniversary.

He was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On September 20th, 2008, after 18 years of infertility they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on April 28, 2013, who they named Brock Jefferson. On October 17th, 2020, they were sealed for Time and all eternity. He loved his family very much and would do anything for them.

Jeff worked several jobs over the years but the one he loved the most was Triumph Youth Services, working with troubled youth where he worked for several years in Brigham City until January when he got hurt and could not work anymore.

He is survived by his wife Robin, his son Brock, father Coy, 6 siblings, many nieces and nephews, 8 aunts and uncles and many cousins. He was greeted on the other side by his mom and so many other loved ones. He will be missed by so many.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Brigham City 4th Ward, 25 North 300 East at 11:00 am, with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am. A viewing will also be held on Friday, June 20, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the church.
