Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lois Elizabeth Aullman Sleight, 78, passed away at Willow Glen care center on August 17, 2022. She was born January 31, 1944, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Marvin Willard Aullman and Erma Betty Butler. She was raised in Thayne, Wyoming, and Fruitland, Idaho. On February 12, 1968, Lois married the love of her life, Edward Sleight, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lois led a life of service to her husband, family, and community. Lois served as an Army wife, secretary, and switchboard operator. She tended many of the children in each of the areas her family lived. She was also a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, held countless leadership positions for the church, and so much more. She has left an indelible mark on all our lives. All who knew her loved her. Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her lifelong friendships in the ward and community. Most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and spending time with family. Lois is survived by her two sons, Eric Sleight and Monte (Melanie) Sleight; two daughters, Jannette (Dustin) Henrie and Kayleen Wintle; one daughter-in-law, Robyn Sleight; three sisters, Louise Beagley, Helen Carter, Connie Stephens; and two brothers, Boyd Aullman and John Sleight.
