Lorena Stephens Tuck, 92, died at home surrounded by family on October 5, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1932, in Los Angeles, California to Avery Nathan Stephens and Murtle Evelyn Abbott. Later, she moved with her family to Bunkerville, Nevada. She spent most of her childhood living between Bunkerville and Las Vegas with her twin sister, Loretta.

Lorena was a bit of a tomboy and loved to hunt and shoot guns. She attended Virgin Valley schools and an Arizona school before moving to Iowa and Ogden, Utah for work. During her time in Ogden, she met Versal (Rocky) Tuck. Soon they married and over the years had six children. They moved to Brigham City, where the children grew up.

Lorena has always been a loving and supportive parent in the good and the bad times.

After her divorce, she started working at Pioneer Nursing home as a nurses aid. She retired after twenty years of service. Shen she retired, she spent her time with different members of her family, traveling until she slowed down due to age. She spent the rest of her life in Brigham City. Lorena loved everyone and everyone loved her back.

She is survived by her children; Bob (Judy), Teresa, Rena (Sam), Versa (Craig), and Eldon, as well as 12 grandkids and 10 great-grand kids.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Gillies Funeral Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm.
