Michael Kenneth Burbank, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his home in Honeyville, Utah.
He was born on June 6, 1944 to Ardis Hunsaker and Marion Kenneth Burbank in Brigham City, Utah at the Cooley Memorial Hospital.
Mike graduated from Box Elder High School in 1962, where he was avid in sports, football, wrestling and track.
Mike worked for Jack B. Parsons for many years and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He loved to train and race horses and ran his horses on the cutter track, where in the 1st race of the season, he dressed up like Ben Hur, no matter the weather, rain, snow, or sunshine. He enjoyed shooting with Sass. He also enjoyed racing pigeons.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Anne Burbank.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Burbank, brothers, Troy (Jarene); David (Pam) Burbank; his sister, Marie (Jeff) Hasty; his children, Ken (Dorothy) Burbank; Kimberly (Mike) Gallegos; Jeremy (Emily) Burbank; Blair (Ciara) Welsh; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Honeyville Cemetery.
