Penny Price

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Penny Riser Price, 69, passed away suddenly at her home in Garland, Utah on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

She was born on October 16, 1955 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Von Frank Riser and Rachel Christine Baumgartner.

Penny graduated from Box Elder High School in 1973, where she continued her education at Steven Henagers receiving her associates degree in Mechanics.

She married Grady Price at the Little Chapel of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 12, 2025.

Penny loved kayaking, paddleboarding, going to Lagoon, loving her kitties, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving is her husband, Grady of Garland; five grandchildren, Stephanie McNeely, Zachary Jones, Connor Jones, Misty Heckenliable and Courtney Shaw; seven great grandchildren, Kostin McNeely, Keidin McNeely, Braxton Jones, Liam Jones, Vaeda Jones, Tylen Hill and Roman Hill. Also surviving is her sister, Sherri and Rick Rackham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Heidi Jones, her grandparents Myrtle and Pete Baumgartner Sr., Amy Larson and Frank Riser, Jr.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah and Penny will be interred in the Brigham City Columbarium, 495 E 500 S. at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
