Rae S. Beesley BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend, Rae Beesley, 92, passed away at her home on Monday, February 18, 2019. Rae was born on November 7, 1926 to Jesse James Stokes and Bertha Vance in Penrose, Utah. She married Ned Beesley of Provo on May 28, 1945 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on August 20, 1963. Rae and Ned spent 60 years raising and racing homing pigeons, going to shows and conventions. Ned passed away on July 19, 2010. Rae was a nurse's aide and worked at Brigham Apparel until 1982. She enjoys genealogy, reading, crocheting and word search puzzles. Rae is survived by seven children: Larrie (Robert-deceased) Norton, Corinne; Pauline (Keith-deceased) Knavel, Roy; Alan (Dixie) Beesley, Lewiston; Ned Beesley, Chester, UT; Owen Beesley, Indianola, UT; Doug (Gerry) Beesley, Brigham City; Mike Beesley, Brigham City; 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one baby daughter, one sister, one brother, two son-in-law's, 2 great grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law. The family would like to thank Legacy Healthcare and Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 12 Noon at the Brigham City 19th Ward Chapel, 105 West Fishburn Drive. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. Send condolences to www.gfc-utah.com
