Nuestro querido esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo, Raquel Vega Rodríguez, de 75 años, falleció en el Hospital Comunitario de Brigham City por causas naturales.

Nació el 27 de julio de 1950 en Llano Grande, Guanajuato, México, hijo de Abel Vega Pérez y Josefina Rodríguez Ramírez. Vivió en GTO en 1950, viajó a Estados Unidos en 1972 y regresaba ocasionalmente a México.

Raquel se casó con Camerina Arreguin el 13 de febrero de 1971 en Llano Grande, GTO, México.

Raquel era miembro de la Iglesia Católica y actualmente asistía a la Iglesia Católica de San Enrique en Brigham City, Utah.

Le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos y su familia. Disfrutaba paseando por la ciudad y charlando con cualquiera que se cruzara. Era muy amigable y le encantaba hacer amigos. Siempre fue una persona positiva. Disfrutó trabajando en la agricultura toda su vida.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Camerina Arreguin Vega; su hijo, Rutilio (Rosalinda) Vega; sus nietos, Lupe, Mariana (Brayan), Marilú, José, Jesús y Mariela; y sus dos bisnietas, Aylani y Aaliyah Martínez. También le sobreviven tres hermanos y cinco hermanas.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Abel y Josefina Vega; sus abuelos, Marcial y Mariana Vega; y Domingo y María Rodríguez.

La misa de entierro cristiano se celebrará el sábado 21 de febrero de 2026 a las 11:00 a. m. en la Iglesia Católica de San Enrique, 380 S 200 E., Brigham City, Utah.

La vigilia se celebrará el viernes 20 de febrero de 2026 a las 5:30 p. m. El velatorio se realizará de 18:00 a 20:00 h en la Funeraria Gillies, 634 E 200 So., Brigham City, Utah.

El entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio de Brigham City.

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Raquel Vega Rodriguez, 75, passed away at the Brigham City Community Hospital of natural causes.

He was born on July 27, 1950 in Llano Grande, Guanajuato, Mexico, a son of Abel Vega Perez and Josephina Rodriguez Ramirez. He lived in GTO in 1950, traveled to the USA in 1972, He occasionally would travel back to Mexico.

Raquel married Camerina Arreguin on February 13, 1971 in Llano Grande, GTO, Mexico.

Raquel was a member of the Catholic Church, he was currently attending the St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Brigham City, Utah.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed walking around town and talking to anyone he came across from. He was very friendly and loved making friends. He was always a positive person.

Surviving is wife, Camerina Arreguin Vega; his son, Rutilio Vega; his grandchildren, Lupe, Mariana(Brayan), Marilu, Jose, Jesus, Mariela; two great grandchildren, Aylani and Aaliyah Martinez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel y Josefina Vega, grandparents, Marcial y Mariana Bega, Domingo y Maria Rodriguez.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, 380 S 200 E., Brigham City, Utah.

Vigil service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. and a viewing following from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 So., Brigham City, Utah.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
