Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Steven Allen Braegger, 79, passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 8, 2025 to be with his sweetheart, Carol who had passed away earlier in the morning of November 8th.

He was born on October 3, 1947 in Logan, Utah, a son of Raymond H. and Lenore Caplan Braegger. He was reared and educated in Logan, graduating from high school and continuing with his degree in accounting from Steven Henigers.

He married his sweetheart, Carol Simonsen on October 6, 1973 in the Ogden Temple. She preceded him in death on Nov. 8, 2025.

Steve had worked as an accountant for Desert Book and retired from there. He then went to work with the State of Utah School of Deaf and Blind and retired with his wife, Carol.

Steve enjoyed being a radio announcer for The Breeze, KLO and announcing at the Egyptian Theatre in Ogden, Utah.

He loved to cook, DJing music, some of his favorite artists are the Beetles, Louis Armstrong, Victor Bargo, Red Skelton and the Monkees to name a few. He also liked recording his own music.

He is survived by six sons, Warren; Joshua; Dana (Laura) Braegger; Christopher (Jennifer); Joel; Daniel; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and one sister Jennifer Skinner of Brigham City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol and one brother, Dennis Braegger.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Providence Cemetery, 925 River Heights Blvd, River Heights, UT 84321.
