Timothy Edward Howard, 57 of Brigham City, Utah passed away on December 10, 2025 in Bountiful, Utah surrounded by his loving family.
Tim, the only son, was born to Dorothy Ellen Blower and Billie Dean Howard in August 10, 1968 In Terre Haute, Indiana as his father was attending college there. His family then moved back to Brigham City, Utah at a later date to which he attended Lincoln and Bunderson elementary schools.
Tim Graduated from Box Elder in High School in 1986 and served a mission in Anaheim, California for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Tim lived life a happy-go-lucky life with enthusiasm and a little bit of good humored mischief and always had a good joke to share.
No one seemed to be a stranger to him and he wasn’t afraid to help someone in need, even if he knew he was going to go without.
He married Tina Humphreys June 7, 1991. The couple lived in various places: Logan, Utah, Smithfield, Utah, Cedar City, Utah, Idaho Falls and Ammon, Idaho, Millville, Utah, and finally settled in Brigham City, Utah. The marriage later ended in divorce.
Tim graduated from Utah State University.
Tim was a good sport about having five daughters. He could be found having painted toe nails from occasion and willfully volunteered to be a manicure model for cosmetology school when one was needed. We’re certain makeup could have been involved too. Tim also enjoyed having a Son whom he loved and esteemed greatly. They enjoyed weblo woods and scouting trips. He enjoyed taking all of his kids fishing and playing a good basketball game. It was fun to see the excitement that stemmed from him watching a football game. But we think what he really enjoyed most was being a grandpa and enjoyed his time with his eldest granddaughter.
As we focus on those things that he did right, many memories flood of how, as a Dad he tried to make ordinary things fun. He showed up when he could. Tried to be our advocate when necessary and worked what he could to provide for our needs. He never was one to make anyone feel small.
Many times our Dad looked on the positive side of situations and people; it seemed that it would only be an acquired skill only one would develop.
As we reflect on Tim’s life, we are grateful for the good times and memories we have had with him and grieve what did not happen. We recognize that just as our bodies can get sick, our brain can too.
We appreciate all of those who did their best to help Tim with his struggle with early on-set dementia and physical illnesses. As well as care and visit with him throughout the years. We recognize his sister, Jen who visited, fed and sat as a companion weekly for many years. We also appreciate the vast medical staff in various facilities for their care and attention.
We know through our Savior Jesus Christ that all things will be restored through His grace and all will be made right in His time.
Tim will be ecstatic to be reunited with his mother; Dorothy, meet his big brother, Billie Dean jr. and Grandparents: Ida Schow and Henry Blower and Hubert and Elva Hughes Howard and many aunts and uncles.
Those surviving are his father, Bill Howard (Cynthia Killian) and his children and grandchildren Leah (Brad) Trauntvein of Worland, WY and their children, Hadley and Hank; Allie (Kolton) Braegger of Brigham City, UT and their children Hailey and Jack, Natalie Howard, Josie Howard and Tejay Howard of Logan UT and Rachel Howard of Ammon, ID.
Tim is also survived by his two sisters Cheri (Joe) Hardy, Jen Howard and one Niece, Stephanie Howard.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up in his name at America First Credit Union which will help offset any unexpected expenses that may incur.
