Family was important to Wayne. He would go out of his way to take care of anyone in his family. He moved his family up to Brigham City in 2005 to help open up BenchMark Metal Fab. which was the business his dad started. He was always the first person anyone in the family would call for help. Wayne loved bowling, shooting his gun, fast cars, video games, spending time with his kids and grandkids, going out to eat, Mountain Dew Spark or Baja Blast, Wild Cherry Pepsi, and Reese’s.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he loved serving in the Primary and with the little nursery children.
